Pedagogy

Waldorf-Steiner
The pedagogy Waldorf has his roots in the investigation of the scientist and Austrian thinker Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). In agreement to the philosophy of Steiner, the human being is an individuality of spirit, soul and body, which capacities develop in three stages of development towards the maturity of the adult: the first infancy, childhood, and adolescence Nowadays is near 3000 schools in more than 90 countries, besides public schools that apply methods Waldorf to enrich his educations. So much it is so the UNESCO supports and promotes this pedagogy emphasizing the education that in the child manages without to neglect the aspects related to his physical and emotional health Also many governments as those of Ireland, Australia, Germany, Israel, etc, support officially the education Waldorf. It centres on the integral knowledge of the man, seeking to exploit all his capacities, even those who still are in potential condition. For it, there stimulate the freedom, the creativity, the practical knowledge, the physical aspects and the scientific contents as everything, from a clearly holistic perspective. It is so during the first infancy (up to seven years) there is understood that the small one centres his world on the discovery of the universe across the senses, and that his central activity is the development of the physical organism. Taking advantage of the will of the child, the pedagogy Waldorf seeks in this stage to use the imitation as method of knowledge. At first, the education divides in periods of 7 years, in accordance to the different evolutionary stages in which the human qualities are developing. The intent to respect these evolutionary periods, without promoting a premature intelectualización. Rebeca Wild German Pedagoga, Founder of the school alternative center in the Ecuador.

"Pedagogy based at liberty and limits with support of the adult "

"The freedom consists of developing the potential that every child
takes inside and not in adapting to a company which goals are
different "
" In order that this freedom on limits could be met it is necessary to
have a suitable environment where to be able to jump, move,...,
because this one is his way of understanding itself to if same and to
his environment"
" The limits that include an environment adapted to the needs of the
child provide safety to him. Only in an environment in which the
concepts liberate and limits they are lived by coherence, a harmonic
conviviality will be possible"

When it is aggrieved he must feel accompanied, but in no case to try
to explain to him the good motives that lead us to establishing these
limit, because to do it is not to respect these moment of pain"

" Definitively, where and when it is fundamental; to live means to be limited "
