Free learning activities for boys / girls from 18 months to 6 years (informal training)

Flexible Hours: 9-14h or 17h  (morning / afternoon sessions as per individual needs)

Small groups

Languages: Catalan, Spanish and English

A DAY IN OUR CENTER

Every day in the Centre Infantil el "Montessori's World" is unique and unrepeatable
because there are many aspects that are involved in the individual
experiences of each child.
The motivation of children, the time of year, projects and activities guided by the                   classroom assistants...
Combining all these factors, the child makes every day different.

THE DAY IS DIVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Arrival (9-10h): progressive entrance and adapted to child rhythm.

Breakfast and free play.

Meeting (10:30 a.m.): meeting with the group to organize the day and

share experiences.

Activities, Free play. (Children can freely choose to participate in any daily proposals)

or colleagues.

Lunch (12.30-13.00h) in a relaxed and musical environment. 1:30 p.m.: Farewell Meeting: meeting to share a telling stories /music / experiences. 2:00 p.m.: Pick up: accompaniment of families to the exit.
2:00 p.m.-3.00 pm: nap or relaxing time.
3.00 p.m-5.00 pm: workshops or free time.
5.00 pm: Pick-up: accompaniment of families to the exit.

FREE PLAY
The child moves freely under the supervision and guidance of adults
between the different spaces, environments and materials which are
specifically designed for the development of all dimensions of the
child (intellectual, physical, mental and spiritual).

- Building Corner
- Music Corner
- Emotions Corner
- Experimentation Corner (unstructured material)
-Symbolic games (doctors, kitchen, supermarket, ...)
-Psychomotor Corner
-Letter/Number Corner
-Theme parties Corner
-Artist's Corner
-Planet's Corner
-Montessori materials: designed and presented to child to develop independence,                     self esteem, confidence and ultimately concentration. All a necessary foundation for            future learning.

DIFFERENT PROPOSALS OF CHILDMINDER AND CHILD MOTIVATED ACTIVITIES (BASED ON PROJECTS)

1) Natural Sciences (organically gardening, make habitat for Birds,
Reptiles, Fish and Insects, ...)
2) Experimentation: cooking (do creative pastas, bread from different
countries, original pizza ...), build a small wooded cottage or house,
...
3) Artistic expression:
          -Make a wallmap paint, engraving,...
          - Handicrafts
          - Create recycled objects (bracelet with can caps, purses
with tetra bricks ...)
 4) Psychomotor: Workshops of relaxation, yoga, body language, world
music, tai-chi, ...
5) Culture: Center of Interest: Christmas, Carnival, Halloween,
Chestnut Party, Seasons, ...
6) Experiences:
- Excursions (play park, market, forest, plant a tree, ..)
